Alton Magazine

 

This is Alton is a local e-zine published by Working Image. The purpose of the magazine is to promote Alton and the surrounding area by given free publicity to local organisations and groups whilst funding it on a non-profit model through the sale of advertising space.

The issue shown here, issue #4 is a special edition giving the community lots of information about the local authorities plans to essentially close the local museums. At the time of writing this page, this edition of This is Alton has received over 20,000 page views.

As a photographer, we are perfectly placed for coverage of most Alton events and to write about them in our own style.

By publishing online, This is Alton gives its readers a new experience of publishing, and one that is becoming more and more common.
